This is my first modern mechanical keyboard, and the look, the feel, the solidity are wonderful. Coming from a laptop keyboar and a clicky Dell keyboard, this is SO much nicer, and I haven't even explored all the key options yet.
My only issue is with the MCHOSE HUB software... that is frankly weak. Spelling, translations, usability are horrible. A shame, since the keyboard is SOOO nice!
So yes, there is a caveat but I’m still giving my keyboard 5 stars because I’m going to chalk it up to not researching the product well enough before purchasing. So the creamy sound of the keyboard is wonderful. I love the way it looks as well as the feel of the keys. It does come with preset commands for iOS that are pretty much the same as the Windows setup so adaptability is possible. The caveats I wanted to mention before anyone else makes this mistake are these: 1) you can only charge the keyboard through a computer. I originally bought this keyboard for my iPad and I don’t have a desktop so I was devastated when I learned this. I was going to make the investment anyway, but was hoping to make that choice later rather than sooner. It cannot be charged via wall plug or power pack; 2) It does not come with the typical writer commands like CTL+C to copy, CTL+V to paste, CTL+Z to undo, etc. You will need to get a COMPUTER software recommended by the company to add these commands to your keyboard. Super okay with doing that when the time comes but not having those commands readily available as a writer bums me out a little bit. But, I completely understand the reason why and commend the customizability of it all. Soooo yeh, I should have read the manual in full before purchasing and I recommend everyone do so before purchasing.
I love the sound, feel, and look. I do wish it had the images on the F keys. Not a huge deal, but I like the visual reminders of the shortcuts. Also, a keyboard/mouse combo with one USB would be great.
